·         Novice / junior Project Managers,
as a step towards PMP® certification

Co-ordinators

·        Project team members

Education hours 23 hours or work experience
Work experience hours ·         Minimum of high school diploma
·         1,500 hours (approximately 200 days)
 on a project team, as an active team member

·         Note, if sufficient education hours, then work experience hours not required

·         PM Fundamentals (2 days)
·         CAPM® Exam Prep (2 days)

·         3 hours
·         150 multiple choice
·         Theory based on PMBOK® Guide(Check table on page 2 for the correct PMBOK® Guide 4th edition for your exam date)

Requirements

Nil – certification expires after 5 years.

 

Before expiration, if the student has
sufficient PM experience and training,
it is recommended that the PMP® exam

experience including 7,500 hours
(approximately 1,000 days) managing
or directing a project

·         Scenario based, application of the

PMBOK® Guide and industry knowledge

Earn and report at least 60 Professional Development Units (PDUs) during each
three-year period. (Note, a 1 day course is equivalent of approximately 7 PDUs.)

Registered Education Providers
(R.E.P.) or PMI® components
